1. DAY

Departure from Toronto to Sao Paulo around 11 p.m. in the evening.

2. DAY

Arrival in Sao Paulo around 11 a.m. in the morning. Following a stopover in Sao Paulo, in the afternoon, we will fly to Salvador. After a two hour and 15 minute flight, we will arrive in “São Salvador da Bahia de Todos dos Santos”, in English: “City of the Holy Saviour of the Bay of all Saints” around 6. p.m. We will be transferred to our hotel in the city centre. We will have our welcome dinner in “Brazil’s Capital of Happiness” at a Churrascaria (Brazilian Barbecue) restaurant. A great start to discover Brazil.

3. DAY

Sunday: Salvador
We will have a half-day historical Salvador tour with a lunch at Senac Pelô and entrance to some museums. Senac is a publicly owned restaurant functioning also as a culinary school. You will have a tasty experience. We will crown our busy and exciting day with a 45-minute folkloric show at the Teatro with Voodoo inspired folk dances and have a typical seafood dish at the Uauá Restaurant.
Everything you’ve experienced today was real, not a dream. Yes, you are deep in Brazil.

4. DAY

Monday: Praia do Forte (Salvador):
We will visit Praia do Forte, a coastal village 80 kilometers north of Salvador. This full-day tour includes a wonderful time on the beach with lunch and a visit to TAMAR, a Brazilian non-profit organisation whose main aim is to protect and study sea turtles as well as sharks and all marine wildlife.
After returning to Salvador in the evening, you will have free time for dinner and strolling in the city.

5. DAY

Tuesday: Salvador-Rio De Janeiro
Early in the morning we will be transferred to the airport for our flight (departing at around 6.30) to Rio de Janeiro. Breakfast takeout bags will be distributed on the way.
Arriving in Rio at around 9 a.m. in the morning, we will start our tour to Corcovado. (Train tickets included). Corcovado, meaning “hunchback” in Portuguese, the famous mountain in central Rio de Janeiro, Brazil hosts the 38-metre-high statue of Jesus atop its peak, entitled Cristo Redentor or “Christ the Redeemer”. It is the most famous symbol of not only Rio but also Brazil.
After our visit, we will have lunch at Estrela do Sul. Checking in into our hotel in the late afternoon, we will have free time for dinner and an evening walk. Talk to your tour leader or local guide for options.

6. DAY

Wednesday: Rio de Janeiro
We will have a half-day tour to Sugar Loaf Mountain, arguably the second biggest attraction after Corcovado. We will take to cable car to see another stunning vista of Rio. After the tour we will have free time for lunch and shopping. We will have dinner at Estrela dos Pampas. You can have evening stroll at the famous Ipanema Beach and take a “people’s bath”.

7. DAY

Thursday: Rio de Janeiro-Paraty
After the breakfast at around 8 a.m. in the morning we will depart by bus to Paraty. (Or Parati) (Pronounced as parachee) This well-preserved Portuguese colonial and Brazilian Imperial town with a population of about 36,000 is located on the Costa Verde (Green Coast), a lush, green corridor that runs along the coastline of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. Paraty is renowned for the historic town and the coast and mountains in the region.
After about five-hour drive we will have a lunch break at Pizzaria Punto Divino in Paraty. Following the lunch we will take a walking tour in the town.
In the evening our guests will have free time for dinner. A good option would be to eat at a “Comido por Quilo (Kilo)” restaurant, in which you help yourself from a buffet and weigh your plate. You just pay for the weight of the portions you chose. The kilo price for everything is around $ 15 for a “balanced” plate. Balanced means that you have to choose a reasonable mixture of meat, vegetables and salad. Kilo restaurants usually serve varied, home-style Brazilian food: beans, rice, meats, vegetables, pastries, casseroles and salads.

8. DAY

Friday: Paraty
Following the breakfast, we will hit the road for a six-hour Jeep Tour to Cachoeiras, Alambiques e Caminhos de Ouro. During this tour we will penetrate deeper into the Brazilian nature and be inside the Atlantic Forest with a waterfall. The tour includes lunch.
Returning to Paraty in the late afternoon, you will have free time for dinner at a comida por quilo or a restaurant of your choice and walk on the streets of the small downtown.

9. DAY

Saturday: Paraty-Ilha Grande
Following the breakfast, we will hit the road for Ilha Grande. After two hours bus ride followed by one hour ferry with private boat, we will arrive at this beautiful island, 150 km from Rio de Janerio.
We will not lose much time to enjoy the beauty of this stunning place and hike to Lopes Mendes Beach (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours walking). Lunch boxes will be provided and we will return to the Abraão Village where our hotel is by boat.
You can have your dinner again at a comida por quilo restaurant you are now familiar with.

10. DAY

Sunday: Ilha Grande
We will have a full-free day at Ilha Grande. Expect a full-day of joy and relaxation at the beach.

11. DAY

Monday: Ilha Grande-Rio de Janeiro-Iguazu
Departing at around 6 a.m. in the morning with our breakfast boxes, we will be driven from Ilha Grande to Rio International Airport (GIG) by ferry & bus. Catching our flight at around 10, we will fly from Rio to Iguassu. Arriving at Iguassu we will be transferred to the National Park near the globally famous Iguassu Falls on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Following the lunch in the restaurant within the park, (Porto Canoas, open buffet) we will have Waterfalls Brazilian side walking tour followed by the Macuco Boat Safari (with Zodiac boats). We advise you to bring a second shirt and t-shirt with you. By the end of this long and busy day, we will meet at our hotel for dinner. Today’s tour includes lunch and dinner, entrance fee to the park and the boat safari.

12. DAY

Tuesday: Iguassu
We will have free time in the morning after a late wake up and a relaxed breakfast. We will visit the Bird Park (entrance fee included) and have free time for a lunch at at Dom Cabral. In the afternoon, we will visit the Itaipu Dam two and half an hours. Finally we will drive to the Three Borders Landmark where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay converge.
In the evening, we will have a dinner and dance show at Rafainn to see folkloric dances of three countries.

13. DAY

Wednesday: Iguazu-Buenos Aires
Following the breakfast, we will be transferred to the Iguazu Airport on the Argentinian side. To get to the airport, we will cross the Brazilian-Argentinian border. Our flight departs at around 10.30, arriving in Buenos Aires around 12.15. Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina, and the second-largest metropolitan area in South America, after Greater São Paulo.
We will immediately start our half day city tour with a lunch break at La Bistecca Restaurant. Our tour includes; National Congress, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Cabildo; the City Hall from the Spanish Colonial Period and Colon Theater San Telmo and Bocca Neighbourhoods. At the end of the tour, you will have free time for dinner and walking in the neighbourhood of your hotel.

14. DAY

Thursday: Buenos Aires
We will have a full-day tour to Tigre, a town about 30 kilometers to the North of Buenos Aires and lying on the Parana Delta. We will take a bus ride followed by motor boat. You will have free time for lunch and shopping in San İsidro, a beautiful and affluent municipality in the greater Buenos Aires Area.
In the evening, we will have dinner and Tango Show at Esquina Carlos Gardel. Expect this evening to be one of the most unforgettable moments of your trip.

15. DAY

Friday: Buenos Aires-Sao Paulo
Free time in the morning for shopping or your individual mini trips. Around noon time, our private coach bus take us to the airport for our flight to Sao Paulo. After a stopover for a couple of hours we will departing to Toronto in the evening.

16. DAY

Saturday: Returning to Toronto in the morning.
